Explore the beaches, surf and water activities in Dunsborough and surrounds

Get out and explore

The natural beauty surrounding Dunsborough is one of the biggest reasons people return year after year. From coastal walking trails and pristine beaches to native bushland, wildflowers and the spectacular Cape to Cape Track, there is plenty to explore just beyond Whalers Cove.

Spend the morning walking beside the ocean, head into the bush for an afternoon adventure or take on part of the famous Cape to Cape Track before returning to the comfort of your villa.

Cape to Cape Track

One of Western Australia’s most spectacular walking experiences, the Cape to Cape Track follows the Leeuwin-Naturaliste Ridge between Cape Naturaliste and Cape Leeuwin.

The track stretches for more than 120 kilometres through some of the Margaret River Region’s most beautiful coastal landscapes, with sweeping ocean views, beaches, cliffs, bushland and forest along the way. You don’t need to tackle the entire track to experience it. There are plenty of shorter sections suitable for a day walk or a few hours of exploring.

Explore Cape Naturaliste and Meelup Regional Park
