Reviews - See What Our Visitors Say About Whalers Cove

"Perfect! A beautiful relaxing home away from home!

Our group consisted of two adults and two teenagers staying a couple of nights at Whalers Cove Villas in the Rousseau Villa. Absolutely faultless service and accommodation, from the friendly and fast check-in and throughout our entire stay. Very well equipped kitchen, plush lounge room area to relax in, a delightful roomy courtyard where we enjoyed two evening meals and breakfasts, the bedrooms were very comfortable, everything neat and spotless. The villa was very quiet and private. A hop skip and a jump to the lovely beach was the icing on the cake. Everyone had a great time, there was plenty of room for all, and we were all very sad to leave after our short vacation. Many thanks to Management for making us feel like welcome special guests, we certainly will be coming back again :-)

A little bit of paradise

Our second time at Whalers Cove (first three years ago) and it was better than ever. Amazing place to stay (Villa Hibernia) just seconds from the beach. Quiet yet very social. Easy to get into Dunsborough and travel anywhere in Margaret River area. The whole resort is very clean with beautiful gardens. Pam and Nikki, the Managers, were also very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back.

Room Tip: The website allows you to pick and choose your chalets with a good selection of pictures so definiltey worth looking at each one to see which suits you best.

A Wonderful place to stay

We arrived with our two kids in tow ,one a 4 year old and a 9 month old infant. The place had enormous space for the kids to play and was nice and clean, the bathrooms were both good sizes for a family and the facilities were fantastic. I would definitely recommend anyone staying with a family or two could easily accomodate there in the PIONEER villa. The staff were very helpful.

A wonderful stay

Three generations of our family got together for a reunion. Our chosen villa, Koskorora was the perfect place to stay. Beds were extremely comfortable and the facilities were excellent. Not only did we have a wood-burning stove to keep us warm but a reverse cycle air conditioner for early morning warmth. Pam and Nicki, the managers were friendly and helpful too and made sure our stay was everything we hoped for. We loved the easy access to the beach and the shops and the community areas were very well maintained. A great place to stay and explore the incredibly beautiful region. We will be back!

Absolutely SPLENDID!

Well, what can I say..... beachfront unit - open the front door, walk over a grassed area and onto the beach!! Lovely villa - well appointed, lots of homely comforts - huge kitchen... Whalers Cove is really well maintained by very friendly and efficient staff. Highly recommend.

Beachside bliss

Absolutely loved our stay in these roomy villas. Loft was cool for our 15yo. All essential facilities including good wifi. Lovely owners too who went out of their way to help us with our car when the battery died. Perfect spot to explore MR and Dunsborough from.

Best location on Dunsborough's beach

Villa Neptune lived up to the photos. The view from the kitchen, lounge and balcony was fantastic - whales, pelicans, locals walking their dogs - and the neighbouring villas tucked out of sight. One of the cleanest places I have stayed in, and the furnishings felt fresh and well-cared for. Perfect family spot because there is only a bike path between you and the beach. You can also walk into town easily. Not cheap, but you didn't feel cheated either.

Birthday treat

Excellent accommodation. Very clean, comfortable. great location on the beach. Good quality cooking facilities and utensils etc. Very comfortable 4 poster beds, excellent showers in both bathrooms. All in all a very relaxing time, with everything you need at hand.

Bliss - we couldn't ask for more

Another wonderful holiday at Whalers. Its magic makes city life seem a million miles away. As always Pam & Nicki think of everything and nothing is too much trouble. They make sure everyone has a fabulous, stress free getaway. We can't recommend it enough and are already planning our next visit. Don't miss out on this amazing experience.

Creating great childhood memories

We've been staying at Whalers cove for the past five years returning a couple of times during school holidays a year. With three kids under ten it's the perfect base from which to hang out at the beach, explore Geographe Bay, visit one of the many attractions available close by for kids and create memories of beach holidays forever. The units are great and the location unsurpassable. Every time we've stayed the kids have made some friends. With two avid skateboarders the day always starts with an early morning skate at the fantastic Dunsborough skatepark.

Dream Long Weekend

Five ladies celebrating the big 50 had the time of their lives in a beautiful villa. It was so luxurious and the view was amazing. We could not have asked for anything more it was all there.Perfect.

Room Tip: Very quiet everywhere.

Easiest of times

This is all that you would hope for from the most relaxed destination. You feel remote and private, yet an easy walk to the shops allows you to shop for all non essentials and alike the beaches are child friendly although just be aware that they're are some pointy rocks which can cut feet. And that was all that caused us a bad start.

Room Tip: Stick to whalers cove for peace of mind to ensure that nothing goes wrong, the management staff are so very helpful.

Excellent choice

We stayed a few nights over school holidays for a 'mums and kids' mini break. Our Villa was William Tell which consists of two bedrooms plus a loft. Having done an on-line booking, check in was very efficient - basically grab the keys and answering any questions I had. Super efficient!

We arrived later in the day than expected, so were very happy that the manager had gone in to the villa and kindly turned on the heating ready for us. Such a welcome gesture and it set the tone for our stay.

The villa was clean and well equipped including a basic tea, coffee welcome pack. Beds were very comfy with good quality linen. The loft was accessed by a very steep ladder, which was fine for our 7 - 9 year olds, but could pose a problem for younger children or those that need to use the bathroom during the night.

Positives: Friendly and helpful service, fabulous location, well equipped kitchen, good heating for winter, clean, lovely safe atmosphere.

Negatives: Cleaner had left some bleach in the laundry tub which resulted in bleach marks on kids clothes. One electric blanket was faulty. Both of these were only minor issues which we pointed out to the manager who undertook that the cleaner would be informed and that the electric blanket will be replaced.

Overall, we would love to come back here and would definitely recommend Whalers Cove to friends.

Excellent Location, Good Accommodation.

Very Good, well equiped villas in an excellent, quiet location (very close to the beach), William Tell 2Bedroom Villa had the added bonus of Foxtel with every channel, especially good for kids quiet time before bed. We would definitely stay again. My only winge is no iPod Dock, come on guys it is the 21st Century.

Exceptional family accommodation

Our family of four (2 adults and 2 boys - 13 and 10 years old) stayed here for 10 days in January in Unit 18 (Rousseau). We found the accommodation to be fantastic for our family. There was plenty of space (including an outside room/area to store bikes, fishing gear, tennis racquets etc), the unit was perfectly clean and very well appointed. Pam and Nicki were always available to assist when required. The group of villas was nicely arranged so Mr 10 could scoot around them on his scooter quite safely. The beach is a 1 minute walk away with no roads to cross and with a nice grass area for cricket or bocce between the villas and the beach. The walk into the main part of town takes 5-6 minutes. There were plenty of large trees around the grounds which were beautifully maintained. A couple of things to check when booking - not all villas have the same amenities as each is privately owned (eg air con) so read the lists carefully and not all back eating areas are private - some face out onto the internal road (Rousseau was very private). I would highly recommend Whalers cover for large groups or families.

Fabulous 50th

Have just returned from a fabulous break at Whalers Cove. A group of us - singles, couples and families had 4 villas and were there to celebrate my 50th Birthday. For many of us (including overseas and interstate visitors) it was our first visit to Whalers Cove and everyone was amazed at what a wonderful experience it was. Each of the villas are individual in style, decorated warmly, very clean and really well equipped with everything you could possibly want to relax or entertain. The grounds are impeccably presented and very warm and homely in their layout and style.

The location is stunning (we had 2 of the beachfront villas with ocean views) and really convenient to walkways, the beach and Dunsborough town centre. Pam and Nicki are very welcoming and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. All in all it was a faultless experience and many of our guests are already planning a return visit. Book early - as word spreads it will harder and harder to get into this unique property. The only negative we had was that we couldn't stay longer!!

Room Tip: Some villas have loft rooms which are great for kids/teenagers.

Fantastic Accom on the Beach

6 on us shared a large beach front villa. The bedrooms and communal areas were large and great for entertaining. Fantastic location (a short walk to Dunsborough). Room Tip: The large beach front chalets are the best.

Fantastic place to stay

My husband and I recently stayed at Whalers cove. The room was fantastic, very clean. It had everything in it that we needed. We walked everywhere as it was close to town and the beach. The managers were fantastic, very friendly and helpful. I would recommend a stay here to anyone as facilities would suit families or couples.

Fantastic stay

Me and my wife were with friends for a wedding down South and stayed at Whalers for 2 nights in Oct 2014, we were really surprised at how nice the place was as, everything was clean and we were a stones throw from the beach. We are already looking to make plans to come back again.

Fantastic Winter Break

We just stayed at Whalers Cove for a week in August. Our Villa was Mayflower which had 3 bedrooms and a fantastic newly renovated bathroom complete with deep spa bath and rain shower. The villa was beautifully appointed and we could not fault anything at all. The best part of a winter break is being able to sit in front of the fireplace when it's raining cats and dogs outside.

The beds are super comfortable and the kitchen facilities are fantastic for preparing dinners. The management are very friendly and really make sure you feel at home. Having a 6 month old baby we wanted a place that was fully equipped and Mayflower Villa had everything we needed especially a washing machine and dryer.

The beach front is great for a stroll on at sunset and having the town centre of Dunsborough a 5 minute drive away is very handy for a grocery run. If you want a nice lunch nearby there are plenty of great spots including Eagle Bay Brewery, Wise Winery and Clancy's Fish Pub.

We had relatives visiting from overseas who stayed down the road at Wyndham resort but they were over at the villa everyday which is just so well suited for entertaining and relaxing. We had a fantastic week away and hope to return in the future.

Great location

Stayed in villa called Neptune with 7 others on a girls weekend away. Villa is nice, spacious has nearly everything you need. There are 4 rooms 2 With queen beds and 1 With A Double the Last room has a bunk bed and a trundle bed in it. The villa Could do with an interior Reno, especially the bathrooms and their is no aircon. Is located right next to a public beach access walk way and can be quite loud on some of the rooms from people walking past and talking But even with these negatives it is still a nice little villa. It is located right on the beach and it is s short stroll into the town centre so couldn't really get a better location . Has an outside Bali hut day bed which is a lovely place to just relax.

Great location, Excellent accommodation

Wow, what can I say? Stylish and spacious holiday homes right on the beachfront at Dunsborough! Conveniently located, immaculately presented and reasonably priced. Fully equipped and ideal for both summer and winter breaks.

Great location, very peaceful and relaxing

We have just enjoyed a wonderful week long stay at Whalers Cove. We walked the kids to the beach every day and enjoyed so many attractions in the Dunsborough area. The complex has beautiful gardens and friendly and responsive managers. The villa had a very relaxed holiday feel; good condition with comfy beds and enough space for a family of 4 to not get on top of each other. The wifi is a little slow. The managers were good enough to lend us a child gate for the stairs but it was a bit rickety, so bring your own if you have young children who like stairs. Thanks so much for a wonderful holiday. We will definitely be back.

Great Place to Stay

Spent five nights in Koskorora with my daughter and young grandaughters. The unit was extremely well equipped and all our needs were well met. Pam in the office was very welcoming and nothing was to much trouble. After informing her that the smoke detector had intermittently gone off during our first night, the electrician was there within the hour to fix it. The villas are close to the beach and close to the town centre. Wonderful place to holiday and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a very relaxing time.

Great villa in a great location

We were one of 2 families sharing the 4 bed beach front villa called Catalpa. It's in a great location, right on the beach, walkable to the local town, and easily accessible to all the main attractions in Margaret River. The managers on site were very friendly and helpful, they recommended a winery to us which wasn't even on our list and ended up being our favourite. The villa itself is very spacious, has all the facilities you'd expect and is in very good condition. To be balanced- my (slight) criticism would be that there were very few coat hangers, and the pillows weren't that comfortable - however this really was a minor issue, and compared to all the positives about this place, including washing machines, DVD players, stereo system etc. it in no way detracts from 5 stars. Some additional nice touches, that shifted the villa from being good to great was that there was wood paper etc. for evening log fires, and on our final day when the BBQ gas ran out, it was replaced free of charge, no questions asked. Overall I'd recommend this villa highly to anyone visiting this beautiful part of the world, we'll be going back.

Great weekend away!

My partner and I stayed here for 2 nights at the end of January, we had visitors over from the UK so we thought it would be nice to show them the wonders of Dunsborough and Margaret River.

I booked Whalers Cove accommodation direct through their website and from initial contact with staff I was completely impressed. The customer service was great and nothing was too much of a hassle.

Upon arriving we were greeted by Pam who was more than helpful. Our accommodation was beautiful, completely spotless and fully equipped with everything we needed for our weekend getaway. Only metres to the beach and a short stroll into town.

We have more family visiting in November and we will most definitely be back.

Thank you :) :) :)

Room Tip: We stayed in Hibernia, just one row back from the beach. Great location and fully equipped with 3 queen beds.

Great! peaceful! LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION

I write this review from the comfort of my leather couch in front of the fire in my gorgeous villa.

This place from the moment you arrive gives you that AAAAAHHHHHHHH feeling.

The location is perfect and has its own private beach access.

The staff are super friendly and helpful.

The villas are well set out and very well equipped.

I can't fault this place! Just perfect x

Halcyon villa, whalers cove

We stayed for 3 nights at the Halcyon villa, a four bedroom luxury villa right on the beach front with the most amazing view overlooking coastline. The villa itself was immaculately clean and decorated to the highest of standards. It was well equipped with everything and more you could need in the kitchen. All the bedrooms were very comfortable with good quality linen and plenty of storage space. Bathroom and showers were excellent as were the towels. Although we did not use them there was a washing machine and tumble dryer available. The villa is open plan, however there is the possibility to close off a small section for some quiet time if needed. There was also a loft area which could be used but the stairs may be a little too steep for very young children. There was a gate at the bottom of the steps, but I cannot remember if this had a lock or not. The outside area had a large table and chairs, perfect for that evening meal, just beware of the kamikazee beetles and the flies were a bit of a nuisance but not enough to put you off sitting and enjoying the scenery. The location on the beach front is fantastic and you never got tired of the beach there is the grass area in front of the villa to utilise. The beach is very family friendly and the water in Oct was warm, clear and shallow, perfect for adults and children. This was a treat for us having come over from the UK however I would have no hesitation in recommending this to everyone and am already looking to return, unfortunately not until Nov 2014 when my niece gets married. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Home sweet home on the sea!

We have been staying at Whalers regularly for 8 years. The spacious villas comfortably accommodate my family and friends and we never want to go home when the time comes to leave. The location to the crystal clear waters of the beach and the town is perfect for our morning coffee walks and by lunch time we are usually hanging out at one of the close attractions in the Dunsborough area. In winter the wood fires add to the cosiness especially with a red wine from one of the local winery's. We have often met the resident wildlife and they are always a delight for the kids to see.

The management are always available, welcoming and accommodate our needs in a warm and friendly manner. We have stayed in most villas and although we have our favorites I can highly recommend any villa at this beautiful spot.

Idyllic!

We are a couple who live in Chicago. Our daughter, son in law and 2 grandsons were visiting Dunsborough from Shanghai. we needed a central place for a family reunion.

This house "Villa Lexington" filled the bill. It was right on the beach, nicely modern with and lovely furnishings. Very easy and yet luxurious living. I believe other villas have a bathtub and I would have liked one here, but that is a minor notion. Just buy groceries , move in and start living... Superb!

Kids most favourite place in the world!

We have stayed in "Mayflower" at Whalers Cove Villas for the past 5 years and have had the most amazing holiday every year. We share Mayflower with close family friends and love the location, the villa is beautifully appointed and have never had any issues with lighting or ceiling fans. Managers, Pam and Nicky are fantastic people who have always been very obliging and helpful. We look forward to our 2 weeks at Whalers all year long and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else!

Love Whalers Cove , been there 5 times and will go back again!!

Enjoy the stay @ Whalers Cove !! My kids can't wait to go there everytime. The people are always friendly and very helpfull. It is central enough to do daytrips and see all that is to see !!

Lovely villas, perfect for families or friends travelling together

I have stayed in a few different Whalers Cove villas - all have been clean, well furnished and spacious. The villas are just a roomy townhouse, and staying with another couple with young children was no problem as there is plenty of room and bedrooms.

The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well equipped - i.e. proper cutlery, knives and a decent selection of pots.

The location is fabulous, right on the beach and a short walk from the town centre.

For our most recent stay the booking process was very easy and the staff kept in contact to see if there was anything we would need during our visit.

Luxury at its best

8 of us stayed at Villa Halcyon for an extended weekend. The villa is absolute beachfront with the most magnificent views of Geographe Bay. It is walking distance to all the cafe's and shops. The villa is massive with plenty of room for 8 people. The bedrooms are spacious and well equipped with loads of hanging space. The kitchen is to die for and had everything we needed. The staff were very welcoming and even came down to help take our group photos before our "girls lunch". Loved the place and will definitely be back.

Luxury by the beach just south of Perth

Past Mandurah, past Bunbury, past Busselton, heading for Cape Naturaliste, we found these gorgeous villas. Expensive for us Kiwis at $260/night, but spacious and comfy, and just off the beach. Many places will only do a minimum two nights stay which didn't suit our plans, so we were pleased to find this villa. The lady manager was friendly and interesting to talk to.

Luxury, comfort and service

Had a super trip to Whalers Cove in August 2011. Stayed in Villa Hibernia. It was beautiful, rustic but modern and all necessary amenities. Although it was August cool and rainy weather we were kept warm by the the log fire which added character. All the apartments looked to be well kept with immaculate gardens. We were thrilled and would definitely go back if we visit the west coast of Oz.

Old Favourite

We have been staying at Whaler's Cove Villas for the last 8 Years, normally once or twice a year. It is perfect for long winter weekends down south. Superbly located, it is a great launching point for visiting wineries and restaurants in the South West. We have stayed in about 5 different villas so far, all have been clean and comfortable with large kitchens, sitting areas and bedrooms. We have slept 12 people in one villa once (with the owner's permission of course!) for a wedding weekend. The owners are fantastic, always accommodating late arrivals if you come down on a Friday night, and often offer great deals in winter, but even in peak season their rates are very reasonable for what they offer. The villas are close to the beach and a 10 min walk to the major shopping centre, cafes and restaurants in Dunsborough. Overall highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful, pleasant weekend away.

Every time we've stayed the kids have made some friends. With two avid skateboarders the day always starts with an early morning skate at the fantastic Dunsborough skatepark.

Outstanding

The accommadation was out of this world. The view was magic and so peaceful especially when viewing the ocean from the tower ( with the wonderful staircase) . The area is beautiful and the customer service was spot on . We look forward to returning to whalers cove in the future .

Peacefully Perfect

Great Location, walking distance to Dunsborough town, beach is on your doorstep, we have stayed twice now - each "home" is slightly different to the other, with the same 'facilities" and we will be returning in November 2011 - once again staying in a different "home". Water pressure in the showers is sooo good ! Whalers Cove has a very peaceful and friendly atmosphere. Like going to stay at someones house but better !! Pam and Nicola are delightful and very helpful. A gem !

Room Tip: visit the web for different room types.

Perfect for a couples or family getaway!

Was very impressed with every facet of Whalers Cove. Very spacious villas, modern decor, great location (literally a 1 minute walk to the beach). Husband and I went there for our anniversary (just the two of us) but would suit groups or families looking for a getaway. Highly recommended!!

Perfect Romantic Getaway

As part of our WA break we elected to stay in Dunsborough for four nights. Whalers Cove Villas had a very attractive winter offer of four nights for the price of three.

Dunsborough is an ideal base for exploring the Geographe region and the Margaret River region of WA. Dunsoborough is just over 40km from the town of Margaret River. We explored Busselton, Yallingup and the northern parts of the Margaret River region from here.

The Hibernia Villa offered two bedrooms plus a loft and had all of the facilities that we could need for a self contained holiday. The villa was clean, spacious and well stocked with linen, kitchen utensils, cutlery and crockery.

It was furnished comfortably, with washing machine and clothes dryer also provided.

The villa has a reverse cycle air conditioner or the more romantic option of a combustion fireplace for heating during the winter months. The fireplace offers a cosy and romantic option for the end of a busy day.

Just a short stroll across the grass and you will find yourself on Dunsborough beach. This is a lovely safe family beach that offers shallow pools to explore and great sunset pictures.

The town centre is an easy walk from the Villas with no hills and well maintained walking paths.

We found the staff helpful and polite from our initial phone enquiries through to our check in and check out.

We would highly recommend staying here. If we get a chance to return, this would be the first place we would try to book again.

Perfect wedding weekend!

A BIG thank you for the lovely hospitality over our wedding weekend.
We had a gorgeous weekend and were really impressed with Whalers but in particular how friendly everyone was.

Relax and have a wine

We have stayed at Whalers Cover twice now and would recommend it to anyone. You can look online and book the villa that suits you. They are clean, comfortable and well appointed. They provide free firewood for the cold winter nights and it’s a short stroll to the beach or into town.

A great place for a family holiday or romantic getaway. We go down to Dunsborough every year for a week and stock up on our favourite wines and have them posted back. This is a great place to stay and we will come back again.

Relaxing holiday

Had an opportunity to stay in one of the villas here during a visit to South West Australia a year ago. The beach is just a short walk and all the attractions of the area just a short drive away. Villas are well maintained and clean and beds comfortable. Really relaxing holiday and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Will return should we visit this area again.

Second visit even better

Just back from a wonderful holiday staying at Whaler's Cove in Dunsborough. Lovely accommodation, beautiful gardens and surrounds and such a convenient location. Whaler's Cove just has that lovely feel about it.

Thoroughly impressed with the Villas

Chalets spotless, very quiet and peaceful, within walking distance to Restaurants and shopping. Would recommend staying there. We had friends from the UK with us and they were so impressed.

Villa Neptune - Great Villa and a Perfect Location

We stayed in Villa Neptune early this year an absolutely loved it. The villa is clean, spacious and has enough bedrooms for 2 families. The kitchen looks out to a awesome view of the tranquil Geographe Bay and is equipped with everything you need for an easy and comfortable holiday. The gas hood BBQ and the large outdoor setting made those balmy nights picture perfect.

The rammed earth and high ceilings made it very cool and there was plenty of space to relax. A big plasma TV, DVD, stereo and with books and games to enjoy it keeps everybody entertained.

Grassed lawn and trees between the villa and the beach makes it ideal for the kids to play and the path along the beach is the perfect setting for walking or bike riding. The bay in front of the villa is shallow and you can walk out for miles or just sit and relax.

Whalers Cove is a great complex and Villa Neptune's beach front location is so picturesque and peaceful yet it is a short distance to the shops and restaurants.

Just fabulous and so relaxing!

Whalers Cove - Excellent Accommodation

Whalers Cove is an excellent accommodation spot for those wanting to experience the best of Dunsborough. Right on the beach and walking distance to the local town - what more could you ask for?! The unit we stayed in was Maraboo and it was lovely. The lay-out suited 2 couples and 2 babies perfectly. We were impressed by the high quality appliances and cutlery and crockery and even the great books and fun boardgames that were provided. Pam and Nicki are wonderful managers and nothing seems too much trouble. Definitely going to be heading back there in summer, as sadly the weather was terrible when we were down there and we could not take advantage of the breath-taking beaches:( All round an awesome spot!

Whalers Cove "Excellent Accommodation" Home away from Home

We stayed at Whalers Cove for the weekend to attend a friend’s wedding. Our accommodation was amazing very spacious with all you need. The unit we stayed in was Maraboo. Pam and Nicki you should be so proud of the facilities that you have our accommodation was immaculate, clean it had everything that you need fully contained unit. It is in walking distance to the beach 2 min. Pam and Nicki are very helpful and friendly with anything that you need. Perfect location to explore Margaret River and also very close to Town. Will visit again soon.

Room Tip: Email Pam or Nicki at Whalers Cove and they will help you decide what would be best suited for you.

Whalers Cove is Beautiful

Had such a wonderful time at Whalers Cove. Stayed in the pioneer Villa. When we come back to Dunsborough we shall be staying here again. The service is wonderful, the location is spot on and the villa are so comfortable to stay in. Lovely hot showers. Enjoyed the Foxtel movies too, which was a different way to start a day at breakfast time, watching moves. Thanks heaps it was awesome. Have been to Dunsborough many many times over the years, stayed in a few places. Nice to have a change and try some different accommodation. The villas are beautiful, so very very very clean and equipped with everything you need. Love the cute little laundries you have also, very handy when you start to run out of clothes. Thanks for providing such a lovely place pioneer Villa. It is a credit to the owners and thanks to the Managers who provide a lovely service of looking after you to a T!

WOW!! I want to live here!

First of all, the location is just amazing. You come out of your door, walk down the pathway and you're at the most gorgeous beach! Crystal clear waters, no waves, knee height for half a km or so. Perfect for families with bubs!

We stayed in the 2 bed, 2 bath villa (Pioneer) and we were VERY impressed. Spacious, clean, large kitchen with all the appliances you could possibly need. A BBQ out back, with a small backyard with grass that our 1 year old loved to play in. Nice and quiet. About 10 mins stroll to shops/restaurants/cafes. Lots of room for bubs to run around in. 3 TV's in the villa. Nice big bathrooms.

The only complaint I have is that I wish there was a ducted air con. There was a split system in the family room and fans in the bedrooms. For some reason the fan was freaking out our 1 year old in his bedroom. We had to leave it off and his room got pretty hot even though the air-con in the family room at max power and I left his door open a little to let the cooler air in. Even in our bedroom with the fan going, it was a bit warm and got a little uncomfortable at nights.

The last night that we were there, there seemed to be some kind of animal walking around the roof or something - I don't know if it was in the roof, or on top but it kept me up for some time with all the noise that it was making walking around.

All in all, we would definitely recommend this place and return here if we were to come to Dunsborough again.
